What is Individual Therapy?
Individual therapy is a safe, one-on-one space to explore your emotions, challenges, and goals with a trained therapist. Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship struggles, or simply seeking personal growth, therapy offers a supportive environment to heal, gain insight, and move forward.
At Strong Foundations Counseling, we tailor therapy to your needs, because no two people are the same. We use evidence-based approaches that respect your identity, values, and pace.

How it Works?
The first few therapy sessions usually focus on building a relationship and understanding your needs. Talking is part of it, but therapy can also include: Practicing coping skills (like breathing, grounding, or boundary-setting) Exploring emotions and past experiences in a safe way. Setting goals for change or healing. Reflecting on patterns in your thinking or behavior. Finding language for things you’ve never been able to express. You don’t need to prepare anything. Just come as you are.
